Your Caterer and Chef, Patsy Williams
Starting a business was something that I had never done before. I was both excited and nervous at the same time. I also had to think about my existing family and work commitments and whether or not I could do it all! I decided to hold a family meeting and after discussing my plans with my close friends and family members, they all encouraged me to follow my dreams and I've never looked back.
I would like Patsy's Kitchen Ltd first to expand throughout South London and then to become a London-wide venture. Maybe even expand further afield. I am confident that with God's help and blessings, my vision WILL become a reality one day. I am already seeing the fruits of my hard work, vision and determination becoming my reality.
I have a passion for cooking whether it's a family meal or a feast for an occasion. I'm a true believer in "Love what you do and do what you love" wherever possible in life. Two of my signature dishes are Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork. Most people will presume that these dishes in particular are going to be hot, spicy, and peppery. Well, that would be a wrong assumption to make. I would say that I purposefully do not create any of my dishes like that!
All of my dishes are flavoursome, and they have a 'subtle kick'. If you ever cook and you have added too many peppers and or spices to your dish that may not suit the majority's palate. We aim to provide a memorable food experience for each and every customer. However, I would say that! But don't just take my word for it, read what my customers have to say.
A final note... in July 1997, I went with a friend on holiday to Florida in the USA. We visited Cypress Gardens, and I purchased a wall tile that said PAT'S KITCHEN. At that time (before I even had my two children) I had no aspirations to have my own business, let alone for it to be one where I would be cooking. "Man cannot destroy what GOD has ordained..."
